Academic Leadership
Kimberly Epps is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran whose career is grounded in discipline, service, and leadership. She holds a master’s degree in Health Administration with a concentration in Gerontology and is deeply committed to improving quality of life for older adults and individuals living with dementia.
She is an Activity Consultant Certified (ACC) and a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), specializing in person-centered engagement, dementia-capable programming, and staff education across long-term care and senior living communities. Her work focuses on fostering purpose, connection, and meaningful daily experiences.
Kimberly is a Licensed Instructor with the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) and an Adjunct ADC Instructor at Davidson-Davie Community College, where she mentors and prepares future Activity Professionals for excellence in practice and leadership. She has also served as an Adult Protective Services Specialist, advocating for vulnerable populations through abuse and neglect investigations and community education.
Through The Epps Impact Group, Kimberly provides education, consulting, and practical solutions that elevate care, strengthen teams, and create lasting impact across aging services.
